69 (Ryu Murakami)

From the writer of Audition (it was a novel before it reached the hands of Takashi Miike), Ryu Murakami's 69 is a roman a clef set in 1969 and about a group of Nagasaki high schoolers being influenced by the counter culture movement in Tokyo.

Quite the departure from Audition but not one to be missed!
