A House With Good Bones by T. Kingfisher

After her brother tells her "Mom seems off", Sam heads to North Carolina to check on her mother. Mom is a bit on edge, the house seems a bit menacing, buzzards are loitering around the property, and a jar of teeth is discovered in the backyard.

Things, in general, seem off and Sam is determined to discover the culprit.

Funny, eerie, and a mystery at the center of this story, I enjoyed this one tremendously.
