Obake: Ghost Stories in Hawaii

I loved ghost story collections growing up but this was my favorite! I never wanted to be out on the North Shore at night after I read it.

Glen Grant was a legendary storyteller in Hawai'i, collecting stories throughout the islands from locals and sharing them in his books as well as his radio show.

Grant was also a historian, contributing his knowledge of Hawaiian history in classrooms as a UH professor, in history books he authored, and in documentaries he appeared in, including Hawai'i's Last Queen, The Embattled Reign of Queen Lili'uokalani.
