The Quiet Earth (1985)

Adapted from a Craig Robinson novel, this is an excellent, lesser known post-apocalyptic, sci-fic flick set in New Zealand.

After working on a project to create global, wireless energy, a scientist finds himself alone without radio reception to deduce what has happened.

Similar vibes and themes to Richard Matheson's I Am Legend, this older film has a lot of charm and a great premise.
