U Turn (1997)

Ahh, a desert movie favorite! One of those dark flicks from the 90s with tons of fun cameos (Joaquin Phoenix and Claire Danes are hilarious as naive, country bumpkins).

A bit Lynchian with a tablespoon of Coen Brothers.
